What we store
- Your email address, used only to sign you in and secure your account.
- The list of credit cards you tell us you own (e.g. “HDFC Millennia”) so we can personalise recommendations.
- Your recommendation history and the questions you ask, so you can revisit them.
- Optional feedback you submit on a recommendation, to help us improve accuracy.
What we never store
We never ask for or store your card numbers, CVV, expiry dates, PINs, or any bank login credentials. Cardence only needs to know which cards you hold — never their account details. We never see or touch your money.
Where it lives
Your data is stored in our managed Supabase (PostgreSQL) database with row-level security, so your records are only accessible to your own authenticated account. Card recommendations are generated by third-party AI providers (Google Gemini and Groq); the purchase description you enter is sent to them to produce a recommendation, but your identity and account details are not.
Deleting your data
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account. This removes your cards, history, and login record.
